Our story

A Taste of Real India, Right in Amsterdam City Centre

Samrat Indian Restaurant is known for a peaceful, cosy atmosphere that makes you feel at home the moment you step inside. We will make your taste buds tingle with delicious, authentic Indian dishes — whether you are craving a fiery vindaloo, a classic korma, or one of our specialities like tandoori and rich, aromatic curries.

Indian cuisine is as richly diverse as the country and its people. With us you will discover traditional dishes from the north, the centre and the deep south of India — and for guests still getting used to the spices, we happily prepare the same authentic recipes on a milder base. There is plenty for vegetarians and vegans too.
